Decision Time secures 20th housing association customer in Wales and 26th in Scotland

Decision Time, an Advanced company, has continued to expand its presence in the housing association sectors in Wales and Scotland with important new customer wins.

The company, which provides governance software for managing meetings, risks and objectives, has secured two new contracts which bring to 97 the number of housing associations in the UK and Ireland using Decision Time’s software.

The latest customers are Cardiff Community Housing Association (CCHA) - the company’s 20th Welsh housing association customer - and Angus Housing Association, Decision Time’s 26th Scottish housing association customer.

Angus is a charitable, not-for-profit housing association managing over 2,000 rentable properties across the Angus and Dundee areas. CCHA provides over 3,000 homes within Cardiff, mostly in the south and east regions.

Decision Time provides solutions across the UK and Ireland to both private and public sector organisations including housing, local and central government, health, education, IT and financial services. Its cloud-based software makes it easier for organisations to practice good governance, risk management and strategic performance.

Decision Time is the only software currently on the market that can provide a full oversight of governance to a housing association’s board.

CCHA have procured Decision Time’s products for meetings and risks as part of their ambition to be “An Organisation that sets the standard in governance”. Angus have bought all three aspects of Decision Time’s software, covering meetings, risks and goals.

David Corry, Governance Software Specialist at Decision Time said: “Housing associations are responsible for providing a high standard of service and accommodation for many thousands of tenants, meaning effective corporate governance is absolutely critical given the potential for ineffective practices to have far-reaching implications on the organisation and those renting social accommodation. A joined-up approach to governance helps an organisation to become a more compliant, accountable and operationally resistant organisation.”

“Decision Time has now been implemented by 97 housing associations in the UK and Ireland. This includes nearly one third of all housing associations in Scotland and over half of the medium to large housing associations in Wales. I believe this demonstrates a strong commitment by organisations to streamlining and consolidating all aspects of their corporate governance requirements, a move which will enable management teams and organisations to be more resilient and deliver a better service.”

Gail Robertson, Chief Executive at Angus Housing Association, said: “The feedback from our Board and staff after their first meeting using the Decision Time portal was overwhelmingly positive. We are looking forward to setting up our Risk and Objectives Management on the two modules to be implemented in the next few months. The integration of these into our overall governance processes will allow the Board greater access and visibility for decision making and has already delivered time and resource savings.”

Decision Time recently became part of Advanced, one of the UK’s largest providers of business software and services with a £330m turnover, 25,000 customers and over 2,700 employees. For more information, visit decisiontime.co.uk.
