Ireland’s Largest Approved Housing Body Opts for Decision Time’s Full Suite of Products

Dublin-based Clúid Housing, the largest approved housing body in Ireland, has acquired Decision Time’s full product suite to help it practice good governance, manage risks and achieve its strategic objectives.

Established almost 30 years ago, Clúid is a not-for-profit charity providing over 9,000 affordable, high-quality homes to people in housing need. It has over 25,000 residents in existing properties across the Republic of Ireland and an additional 18 active building sites.

The organisation is using Decision Time’s software to help its board navigate significant growth. Clúid had been using Decision Time’s meeting management software for a period of time and it has also now acquired the company’s risk management and goal setting products as well.

Kate Innes, Finance and Treasury Director, Clúid Housing, said: “We are a very fast-growing organisation and that requires us to have really strong governance and management. With the number of schemes that we have on site and the amount of work that we are doing, there are a lot of approvals, checks and balances that are needed right up the organisation to board level. We also have new statutory regulations for everyone in the sector in Ireland to comply with. So, our whole assurance framework needed to be extremely robust. And that’s where Decision Time came in.”
