Decision Time - an Advanced company, announces new strategic partnership with House of Risk

Decision Time, the leading provider of strategic decision-making solutions, has formed a new partnership with House of Risk, an expert risk and assurance consultancy that specialises in the housing sector. Together they say they will help even more housing associations achieve outstanding levels of governance, risk and compliance (GRC).

Decision Time currently counts over 90 housing associations in the UK and Ireland as customers. It helps them run better meetings, manage risk, and meet their strategic objectives.

Dorset-based House of Risk was founded by Becky Tucker, an expert in risk management with over 13 years of experience in the housing sector. It focuses on providing services that enable boards and committees to feel assured that their organisation has appropriate corporate assurances in place.

The new partnership is intended to bring together the expertise of the two companies to provide market-leading advice, guidance, and solutions to housing associations to help them navigate the complex and ever-changing landscape of the housing industry. It will focus on providing housing associations with the guidance and tools they need to make strategic decisions that will help them to manage risk effectively and achieve their goals.

Geoff Higgins, Managing Director of Decision Time, commented: “Most housing associations understand the importance of good governance and how it is necessary for them to navigate an ever more volatile operating environment. They have most of the key ingredients of good governance but need to connect it all in a more holistic way. Our partnership with House of Risk will help them do that by bringing together Becky’s significant experience and expertise in governance, risk and compliance management with Decision Time’s unique integrated governance platform which helps housing associations meet their regulatory requirements and serve their stakeholders more effectively.”

Becky Tucker, Founder of House of Risk, said: “I am excited to partner with Decision Time who I have known for some time as a fantastic platform for housing associations. There is no doubt that GRC is high on the agenda of housing associations in the UK and Ireland and that associations have become better at managing these areas. But there is still a significant amount of work to do to ensure all organisations in the sector have a holistic and integrated approach that best serves their organisation and stakeholders.”

Decision Time recently became part of Advanced, one of the UK’s largest providers of business software and services with a £330m turnover, 25,000 customers and over 2,700 employees. For more information, visit Decision Time and House of Risk.
