Decision Time in the running for two major tech awards

Decision Time is in the running for two of the biggest tech sector awards in Northern Ireland.

The company has been shortlisted for the Small Tech Company of the Year category in the Digital DNA Awards and co-founder Sinead Higgins has been shortlisted for Entrepreneur of the Year in the Women in Tech Awards.

Digital DNA

Now in their seventh year, the Digital DNA Awards are seen as Northern Ireland’s largest tech sector awards. With 14 categories, they recognise, celebrate and promote the best tech talent from across NI.

It is the second year in succession that Decision Time has been shortlisted for the Digital DNA Awards. Last year, Geoff and Sinead Higgins went on to win Founder of the Year in the prestigious scheme.

This year, the company is up against a range of leading businesses for the Small Tech Company Award, with the winners due to be announced on 28th April at an event in the ICC, Belfast.

Women in Tech Awards

The inaugural Women in Tech Awards, which are organised by Women in Business Northern Ireland, seek to recognise and celebrate women who innovate, challenge and embrace technology, and to showcase inspirational individuals who have achieved great success within the sector. The awards ceremony will take place at the Europa Hotel, Belfast on Friday 8th April.

Sinead Higgins, Business Director of Decision Time, said: “Being recognised in leading awards is an endorsement of Decision Time’s commitment to innovation and to exceptional customer care. It is also important in helping us build our brand with potential employees. Our aim is for Decision Time to be the best place to work in Northern Ireland and as we continue to recruit for a range of roles, winning awards helps us create awareness of our growth, successes, and workplace practices.”

The shortlisting for the two schemes follows on from significant awards success for the company in 2021. In addition to winning a Digital DNA Award, Decision Time was ranked in the Deloitte Fast 50 for the fourth time, and was highly commended in the Belfast Telegraph IT Awards.
