Sinead Higgins wins IoD Director of the Year award.

Delighted to announce our very own Sinead Higgins, has been awarded IoD’s Director of the Year in the Small to Medium Size Enterprise Category.

As Decision Time’s co-founder and Business Director, Sinead has a linchpin role within the leadership team. Through her commitment to developing and refining financial structures and people practices, she has helped the company take many strides forward in terms of both growth and performance. 

Throughout her career, Sinead has consistently based her thinking, planning and delivery around one important principle – that by attracting and retaining the right people, Decision Time would always deliver exceptional products to happy and loyal customers.

She says,

“In my experience, if we manage to get the three building blocks of People, Product and Customer exactly right, then finances more or less take care of themselves. It’s not easy, but it’s what we strive to achieve here at Decision Time.”

That’s not to say finances are ignored. Her stringent fiscal discipline has won Decision Time a Deloitte Fast 50 Technology award in three of the last five years and resulted in impressive year-on-year growth in excess of 20%. 

“In the last two years, Decision Time has more than doubled our customer numbers. Our small but brilliant team is displacing incumbent global competitors, disrupting new market sectors and introducing new and innovative products that are helping leaders make better decisions.”

As well as overseeing financial growth, this award coincides with another exciting achievement for Sinead. Responsible for employee engagement, development and talent, her hard work was acknowledged in an Investors in People Gold accreditation earlier this year. Since then the company has been shortlisted in the UK’s Top 10 Investors in People Gold ‘Employer of the Year’ category. Winners will be announced mid-November, just in time to celebrate Decision Time’s 17th year of business anniversary.
